“It Was All Started by a Mouse”

I just started my [second] first day at The Walt Disney Company and I could not be happier to return to the magic. I first started March 2009 in Fantasyland attractions, then went to Guest Relations in 2010 until July 2014. I left because I not only never got full time, but also wanted something more challenging, one where I felt I can make a difference in people’s lives. So, I went to Bank of America where I started as a teller, became a Relationship Banker, then transferred to the call center and was able to provide financial advice to willing customers.

While I’m extremely thankful for the lessons and knowledge I gained from my previous employer, I always felt like “The Mouse” was calling me home. So, on Walt Disney’s birthday last December, I prayed to God and Jesus (with Walt in mind) and asked for guidance where I need to be, and if I’m meant to go back to The Walt Disney Company, please help me find a way to make that happen. Needless to say, my prayers were answered! I not only got a job that brings me back home, it also combines my banking experience with everything I yearned for from before. Always believe! Never give up!

“When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.” While this is true, I attribute my dreams coming true to God, Walt Disney, and Mickey. Here’s to coming home to The Mouse!
